While I’m personally partial to shuffling a virtual deck rather than running and gunning, a good wireless gaming mouse can still make all the difference. James explains the main difference between the base G3 V2 and the Pro thus, saying “[The Pro] comes in at a couple of dollars more, in exchange for a PAW 3395 sensor and a DPI of 26,000. [Both mice] are the same weight and feel identical. If I were picking up a mouse, I’d likely go for the Pro, partly because the difference is so minor in price. The Pro offers the same polling rate, though it does come with a few extra features in the Mchose software.”

Better yet, the onboard 800 mAh battery means you’ll be on your game in the wireless 2.4 GHz mode for over 100 hours. The thing I hate about wireless mice is how often they have to become wired to charge, but that sounds like a battery capacity I’d only have to worry about a few times a month, tops.

What I personally really like about the G3 V2 Pro though, is something James described as a drawback for some. He writes, “The absence of negatives at this price point is a big positive, and the only thing I’ve had to get used to is the potential for misclicks thanks to just how ickle this rodent is. I have fairly large hands and definitely felt them drape over the front of the mouse, weighing it down sometimes.”

That’s right, my fellow baby-handed freaks—if you’ve got wee little palms like me, you may be particularly well-served by this wireless gaming mouse. Add to that Omron Mechanical Switches, plus a total weight of 59 grams, and the Mchose G3 V2 Pro feels especially good in the hands of the tiny mitt bandits.

Mchose doesn’t cut corners, but it does make savings by foregoing flashier inclusions such as RGB lighting. The USB-C cable in the box is also pretty basic, and likely won’t match any of the fun colourways you may happen to find at a similarly reasonable price elsewhere. The 2.4 Ghz dongle features a white end too, but as this deal only applies to the white version of the Pro, that’s a moot point.
